The Department for International Trade (DIT) is a department of the United Kingdom government concerned with trade agreements between the United Kingdom and foreign states while promoting foreign investment and export trade. The DIT is one of the newest government departments, founded in 2016 by Theresa May to broker foreign trade deals in light of the UK’s referendum vote to leave the EU.
The Department for International Trade (DIT) wanted to develop a 21st century onboarding process and an automated checklist to track who has completed what.
We worked with DIT to design and build an onboarding induction environment.
The key features of the project included:
- a number of interactive and engaging eLearning modules;
- an online learning environment that launched eModules and tracked learning;
- tailored learning pathways for different types of employees (e.g. individuals, managers etc.); and
- sophisticated reporting to enable HR to see who has completed what (checklist for each person).
A large percentage of the organization has now completed the new “One DIT” induction process
The feedback has been positive, the modules are easily navigated and straight forward, a very good Induction product
HR now have a level of reporting which allows them to see completion across the whole organization with one click.
“Accipio has been very professional in the work they have delivered, even following up after the launch of the product. A successful project, thank you.” – Poonam – Leadership, Learning & Talent: Department for International Trade
