UCAS: iLearn (Moodle LMS)

THE CHALLENGE

UCAS was not satisfied with their existing digital learning platform and provider.

Low utilisation rates, unhelpful customer service and higher than necessary costs.

Platform was not configured to embed a learning culture.

Feedback on the system and peoples experiences had not been good, which led to poor uptake.

WHAT WE DID

We migrated the platform to Moodle (iLearn), and refreshed the design and built new functionality (such as quick access navigation)

We aligned the platform with compliance, induction and “Centres of Excellence” requirements.

We expanded the content to include a number of new engaging eModules, including a section on Leadership and Management.

THE RESULTS

Increase platform utilisation by over 70%.

Saved UCAS over £10k per annum.

Over 95% of staff have completed compliance modules.

iLearn is now a growing part of UCAS’ learning culture.

Increased access and flow around the site for users.

Increased positive feedback from a recent L&D survey.

Enables a platform for future digital growth.
