Simple steps to migrate your LMS
1. Discovery
A Moodle/Totara expert will meet with you to discuss current challenges and how we can solve them. We will take you through our migration plan and explore any obstacles and determine if a “migrate and advance” or “big bang” approach is best for you.
2. Planning and Strategy
We will then scope out the migration process end-to-end, considering new solutions, and establishing key timeframes. We agree the plan and the team will schedule any further development work required and consider third-party plugins that can help to deliver your functional requirements.
3. Dry Run
Our team will perform a dry run of your migration, which includes generating a staging version of your new LMS, which can be used for testing purposes. You will have the opportunity to test and review your new solution and communicate any further changes to our team.
4. Go live
After extensive testing, training, communications and sign-off, we repeat the tested migration process (including any scripts) and the new refreshed LMS site will go live. We will continue to advance and support the site.
