The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) exist to protect and improve the nation’s health and wellbeing, and reduce health inequalities. It is an executive agency, sponsored by the Department of Health and Social Care.
The UKHSA needed a platform that could help them to deliver the UK Field Epidemiology Programme (UKFETP). This is a 2-year programme dedicated to providing the training and experience required for medical, nursing, scientific or veterinary staff whose careers may, or do, involved field investigation and epidemiology. We swiftly provided a modern and efficient platform that directly caters to their learning needs. It is a flexible, pluggable and open-source platform that provides the high quality e-Learning required to provide the UKFETP. The bespoke IPR tool allows for RAG rating of learners in their various categories of assessment and, consequently, for top-level reporting.
